Every beginner should have a decent, properly set-up instrument to start with. If the initial experience is not an enjoyable one, chances that they will continue playing are diminished. Don't assume you are getting properly working instrument - educate yourself, ask questions. 

KCM offers part of "regular stock" models or violins violias and cellos for rent - they are professionally set-up and maintained (if used) and equipped with high quality strings, fine tuners, good quality bow and case. If you purchase an instrument within 3 months of commencing the rental, 100% of the rental fee will be applied to the purchase price.
